Learn world affairs, globalization, trade, migration, EU.
If you live in San Francisco, and you're 55 or better,
you can attend FREE classes in the Older Adults dept. of CCSF -- including "Understanding Changing Times:
Historical Perspectives on World Affairs",
taught by Joseph Metzgar, Ph.D.
This weekly class meets on Monday mornings, 10AM to 12 noon, in Room 624 of CCSF's Downtown Campus, 4th & Mission.
You can start on any Monday.
No requirements, costs, tests, etc.
Classes consist mainly of political videos followed by discussions;
and sometimes we have guest speakers.
Here's our schedule for the rest of Fall 2004:
Nov. 15: the USA and the European Union.
Nov. 22: U.S. national budget deficits, and our national debt;
and our trade deficits.
Nov. 29: Globalization, outsourcing, NAFTA, etc.
Dec. 6: Immigration.
Dec. 13 and 20: guest speaker;
and/or
"Is the American Dream Dying?"
