COPWATCH is having an event to celebrate women and the political struggle women continue to fight against.
“In Song and Struggle”
International Women’s Day benefit for Copwatch
Come celebrate International Women’s Day at the 5th annual “In Song and Struggle,” a night of music, spoken word and political consciousness. This event will feature women artists including Gwen Avery, Copper Wimmin, Rebecca Riots, Rachel Garlin, Libby Kirkpatrick as well as Poetry for the People and updates on issues affecting women at home and abroad.
Saturday, March 6th at 7:00pm
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall
1924 Cedar at Bonita in Berkeley
$10- 20 (sliding scale/ no one will be turned away)
This event is wheelchair accessible and ASL interpreted.
