Open-source voting software used in Australia
http://www.wired.com/news/ebiz/0,1272,61045,00.html
Australia is currently using open-source electronic voting software. Open-source software code can be looked at by everyone to find possible bugs or parts of the software that could be manipulated to fix elections. That means open-source software is trustworthy (as opposed to secret software which can't be looked at from companies like Diebold). A paper trail is missing from Australia's electronic voting, but the open-source part of the trustworthy electronic voting is being used.
