Presented by assorted rabble rousers, Homes Not Jails and the Autonomous Collective.
In this city of intense housing pressure and massive homelessness, I reckon it’d be good if we could have a lively community of people actively making use of buildings that are sitting empty for crappy reasons like housing prices; or at least talking about it.
It’s probably redundant to say, but to those of us that have the luxury of reaching our heads above the menacing clouds of capitalism, it’s absolutely obvious that allowing people to make money at the expense of the suffering and oppression of others is insanity.
Please come along and inspire/be inspired about this grass-roots international form of direct action. Funny stories, practical tips, hopefully some legal stuff etc.
“Don’t let houses rot”
And, ahem, could y’all pass on this message to any/all interested people/groups/email lists.
