William Pepper, close friend and attorney of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has a new book, "An Act of State: The Execution of Dr. Martin Luther King." Pepper was interviewed on the KPFA Morning Show on Jan. 18, 2003.

The book deals with the evidence that has been aired in the full sunshine of the U.S. court system (but which has been near totally ignored by the media, precisely because conspiracy was proven).

Modern Times hasn't updated their website yet to include information about the book and signing, but a store down in San Diego has done a nice job on their site.  There's good background on the book.  Click here to pull it up.  Check back with Modern Times later this month.   All I know is the date -- Feb. 3rd -- not the time.  I'll post a follow-up on this message when I learn more (or others, please feel free -- extra eyes appreciated).  But I wanted to toss this up now given the timeliness of the KPFA interview and import of the subject.

For Modern Times Bookstore's website,  click here.

For a map on where the store is located, click here.

Note:  The mp3 is 9 megs.  It's edited to include the intro blurb on the segment, and the interview segment in full;  picture credit:  Pepper with King, as found on Current Affairs bookstore web page.
