Joey Cain on the Politics of Pride

I've known Joey Cain for about twenty years. He's the best read person I have ever met, and one of the brightest. We work together on a number of projects, including Bound Together Books and the annual San Francisco Anarchist Book Fair. Joey is a member of the Board of Directors for San Francisco's Gay Pride Parade. He recently talked with me about Gay Shame, Dr. Laura, DanceSafe, and the current state of volunteerism in America.
