After reading the AP newswire article for 8/13 saying that the cops wont kick you out until they get the go ahead from the school district, I did a little research on the San Francisco Board of Education. According to the linked article I've pasted , this is the only school district in the nation thats been working with HUD to build affordable housing for teachers. Apparently they are having a hard time finding them since most are not able to afford the average $1900 for a single bedroom.
Maybe you could keep them off your backs and generate a little revenue for rehab by voting in some rad teachers to live there at prices way under market rate.
