Backlash Against Palo Alto Police Chief
Palo Alto's police chief said that her officers would be stopping African American males to determine who they were and what they were doing in the city of Palo Alto.
Community leaders including the mayor of Palo Alto expressed shock at the chief's statement. Congresswoman Anna Eshoo said the police chief should rescind her comments and orders or resign.
A march and rally against racial profiling is scheduled for Sunday, November 9....

Update on Hmong Community Garden & Fresno City Council meeting on Tuesday
An article was written today in the Fresno Bee stating that some sort of an "agreement" has been reached with gardeners at the Hmong Community Garden. This agreement seems like more of the same thing we have seen before, with the City not fully involving the community and the gardeners, and not even guaranteeing garden plots for all of the gardeners at the Hmong Community Garden....
