Agent indicted in S.J. death to hear charge in case Monday
Walker, 33, who a criminal grand jury indicted Wednesday for the Feb. 17 shooting death of Rodolfo ``Rudy'' Cardenas, is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. in Department 24 at the Hall of Justice in San Jose, court officials said. The contents of the indictment will remain sealed until his arraignment, but a source close to the case said Walker was charged with voluntary manslaughter....

Update and Schedule of Cardenas Grand Jury
The schedule of the Grand Jury is as follows: Wed. 7-21 will be a part of a day with only a couple of witnesses. Thurs 7-22 will be a full day, Friday will be off and back on Monday and Tuesday 7-26 & 7-27. The DA hopes to conclude by Tuesday of next week....

RCNV terminates Santa Cruz Infoshop's lease

Today the recently opened Santa Cruz Anarchist Infoshop at 509 Broadway was served a one month notice of terminating our rental contract with the Resource Center for Nonviolence. This came as much of a surprise to us, because until today we have not received any warning or notice of complaints....
