j20 rally in Oakland. (video/x-pn-realvideo 8.2MB) Several hundred (at peak) people gathered at the Federal Building in Oakland on j20 to hear poetry, music and a few speeches about the Republican coup to steal the presidency. There is a lot good organizing material in this 55 minute video. I also have this in MPEG and will make free copies on CDROM for people to use for outreach or to copy and spread around....

Electirc utility ratepayers gathered at the State Building, 505 Van Ness today (01/02/01) to voice their opposition to proposed rate increases to bail pge out once again. A common theme of the speakers was public power and no bail out of pge with this problem.
