Democrats Ammiano, Ad Nauseum, Oppose Bus Riders; Support Fare Hikes
The "liberal" Democrats, Supervisors Tom Ammiano and Jake McGoldrick demonstrated their reactionary colors with their support of the "newly" found $9.2 million to go toward reducing parking fines & fees and not reducing bus fares. In Ammiano's District 9 in November 2004, the voters could have chosen socialists Steve Zeltzer or Lucrecia Bermudez or Green Party Renee Saucedo, but they chose Democrat Ammiano and they got the Democrat they voted for....
