The officer continued backing away from the suspect and drew his firearm as the suspect continued to hit him. The officer fired several shots at the suspect and the suspect fell to the pavement. Paramedics were called to the scene. The suspect was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead....

This is part of our protest against the Double Tree Hotel, who is allowing the Central Coast Gang Investigators Association (CCGIA) to hold their seminar at their hotel. Michael Walker, who killed Rudy Cardenas and who has been indicted for voluntary manslaughter, is one of the board members of the CCGIA....

Walker, 33, who a criminal grand jury indicted Wednesday for the Feb. 17 shooting death of Rodolfo ``Rudy'' Cardenas, is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. in Department 24 at the Hall of Justice in San Jose, court officials said. The contents of the indictment will remain sealed until his arraignment, but a source close to the case said Walker was charged with voluntary manslaughter....
