Monday the 18th Humanity for Homeless will be putting on our largest meal of the year.
From local donations, we will serve ham, mashed potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce, apple pie, rolls, hot apple cider and homemade bread. Musicians are welcome as this will be a festive atmosphere. Children with adults are welcome and some will be serving. We ask anyone who wants to help or just join us to come on down - 6pm Monday the 18th in front of New Leaf Market on Pacific Ave....

The letter seeks to understand why Santa Cruz declines to abide by the 9th Federal Court of Appeals decision in the Jones case. The Court found that LAPD action criminalizing the L.A. homeless for sleeping at night on Skid Row was "cruel and unusual punishment ."...
