The 100 SF spring peace protesters scheduled for hearing on 6/.5/03 had their charges dismissed because there was no police report, according to KPFA, 94.1 FM, 6 p.m. news, 6/5/03....

Top Police Brass Show Up At Bechtel To Support Their Corporate Masters
The Bechtel protest was reasonably large (100-200 people) but the number of police was disproportionate and included most of the top brass in the department. One would think they would have something better to do... but then again they use the protests as an excuse to get overtime that they know was not needed....

Pictures From Bechtel Protest In SF
Around 7 AM on June 5th 2003, several hundred activists gathered at Bechtel headquarters to protest Bechtel's profiting off of the suffering of the Iraqi people. Over a dozen people locked arms and were arrested. Protests are continuing all day....
