riot cops with their non-stop bombardment of chemical weapons and beatings sent people fleeing onto this highway near cote d'abraham in quebec. people beat on the guard rails and chanted "so-so-so-solidarite" while black bloc helped throw CS gas back at the cops...

as quebec 911 was hanging up on people, volunteer medical units were being forced at gunpoint out of their space. indymedia stepped up and provided a lot of our pressroom to a medical triage unit. there was tons of CS gas and a tiny infant was treated by these brave medics....

at the top of cote d'abraham outside of the indymedia center, there were tons of green-uniformed riot cops. also, there were black-uniformed riot cops, as the one in this picture, who were mostly videotaping people and using the guns....
