Hundreds Protest Pollution, War and Global Warming at Chevron in Richmond
Hundreds of people protested in Richmond on March 15th, 2008, to demand that Chevron stop stealing oil around the world while polluting our communities. The actions were in solidarity with the peoples, plants and animals of Ecuador, Nigeria, Burma, Iraq, Alberta and every other community exploited and poisoned by Chevron (Texaco, Unocal, etc!)...

New York City crane collapse kills at least four
Monday, March 17, 2008 :A giant crane being used in the construction of a luxury condominium building in Manhattan toppled over without warning on Saturday afternoon. An entire city block was devastated, in one of the most serious construction accidents in the city’s history. Four construction workers were killed and two dozen workers, first responders and residents or passersby were injured....
