Blacks MIA at Darfur Rally
As momentum increased last Sunday with a rally to end the slaughter of civilians in Darfur, Sudan, Blacks were few and far between in a sea of White protesters on the National Mall. “Save Darfur” campaign rhetoric claims that the appeal of the movement is its assorted religious groups, its protesters from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and political affiliations—but did the average Black person get the memo?...

The Dangers of Misunderstanding Sudan: Muslims Seek Voice in Darfur Demonstrations
Although American Muslim leaders have spoken out vociferously against the atrocities in Darfur, there were no Muslim groups or speakers listed in the rally program at last weekend’s "Rally to Stop Genocide" in Darfur that took place in Washington D.C. However, that is exactly what we have seen the death of innocent children, women killed and rapaed, villages burnt down, and so many other horrible episodes. Suffice ...

Islamophobia, a Retrospective
It was the potshot heard round the world that touched off a counter-crusade. Packaged in western free speech cliches, and marketed as innocent satire, the newspaper Jylland-Posten's depiction of the Prophet Muhammad as a terrorist/suicide bomber with a ticking bomb for a turban was "provocation-entrapment" propaganda. Dual-use entertainment, in this case frivolous caricature, is an unexamined aspect of "full spectrum information dominance." The US Secretary of Defense Dona...

At least 28 people were murdered and 366 assaulted on racial grounds in Russia last year, according to information collected by a Russia information centre (the Sova Information Analytical Centre).
