textThe Street Tactics Thread by somebody else
On the day the invasion of Iraq starts, resistance in the streets obviously wont rely on tactics like the single Black Bloc, headed for obvious targets. They wont work. textNo war abroad; no budget cuts at home by John Reimann
The coming war against Iraq is directly linked with the sharp cuts in social spending here it home. Everything that moves must be directly for the profits of US capitalism. If not, it must be starved out or bombed out. Public meeting to discuss how to build a direct action campaign against all cuts....

textPolice estimate 200,000 possible at Feb 16 San Francisco peace rally. Overhead photos, too by eco man
Article and 2 good overhead photos after clicking thumbnails. Great links after the article. Independent media (of all kinds) pressure concerning police estimates results in pressure on both police and corporate media to produce more realistic estimates of crowd sizes. Or people will lose even more faith in the police, and corporate media will lose even more readers and viewers....

textSF GATE: CRAZY ANTIWAR ANARCHISTS GO ON RAMPAGE! by CNN defector
More propaganda from the American "Free" Press. According to this report from the San Francisco Gate, "Blac Block" anarchists went on a rampage during yesterday's Antiwar protests. According to one police officer, "It's anti-war. "It's kind of like anti-everything." Police Sgt. Jim Seim said it appeared that 40 to 50 members of the group were responsible for most of the evening's mischief. The breakaway crowd seemed to be mostly made up of young &q...
