Animal activist Laurel Kinder just filed a lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles for assault, battery and false imprisonment. On May 21, 2007 while she was photographing shelter animals as a New Hope rescue partner the shelter manager Tori Strawn physically tore her camera from her hands.
