Did the Marin Telecommunications Agency (MTA) Violate the Brown Act?
Marin Telecommunications Agency (MTA) Chairman Dan Hilmer of Larkspur brought a motion to adjourn the regularly scheduled meeting of the MTA 40 minutes early, effectively cutting off public comment, in spite of the fact that there was a standing-room-only crowd of people expectantly waiting to speak to their local representatives about the agreement. KPFA Board Manager Fired; No Word from KPFA Board to Listeners
The capitalist press, the 1/14/06 SF Chronicle, gives the subscribers who pay for KPFA the first official announcement that yet another KPFA station manager has been fired. We never received any official announcement via Email or postcard or any other means from anyone on the KPFA Local Station board that this has taken place. This is gross mismanagement on the part of LSB and must end immediately....

Protest Gov't Hrgs on KPFA Instead of Regular News Programs
Protest the endless government hearings on KPFA, 94.1 FM, instead of regular programs for which the subscribers pay by calling 510.848.6767, option 3 for listener comment. The summary on the 6 p.m. news is sufficient; this is an outrageous insult to the subscribers to cancel the programs for which we pay for the endless bantering, chatter and procedural garbage that constitute all government hearings and the commentary....
