11/29 Morning Update Election Fraud in SF
KPFA Morning News, 94.1 FM, 11/29/01, is reporting that the San Francisco Election Department has "found" 240 more ballots for the November 6, 2001 ballot and is now counting them. This election is 3 weeks old. New York City managed to count some 1.4 million ballots on election night. San Francisco cannot seem to count 133,000 ballots in more than 3 weeks. 11/28/01 Update Election Fraud in SF
The latest evidence of election fraud in the San Francisco November 6, 2001 election where the public power initiatives Props F and I were "defeated" by election fraud is the mystery of the floating ballot box tops. On Sunday, November 25, 2001, the Coast Guard found 8 or more absentee ballot box tops floating in San Francisco Bay and in the ocean, near the Golden Gate Bridge, at the end of a weekend for which rain was predicted. The concern is that ballots may have been dumped into the Bay...

Home Depot's arsenic-treated wood - too toxic for zoo animals but safe for you?
We all know that corporate media has certain biases in its news coverage and especially on its editorial pages. We shouldn't forget, though, that this bias extends to the advertising department. Newspapers in the Bay Area printed the following ad, but other publishers were not so obliging. Admittedly there is nothing unusual about it - just another case of putting corporate profits before consumer safety....
