Explosion In San Francisco across From FDIC, Not What I wanted when I said, Cross The Arc
The explosion in San Francisco today was not what I wanted yesterday when I asked for the creator to "Cross the Arc" "And solder their Plugs to the Ground". Some do not understand the continuum. Valiant effort, wrong way, but I feel the direction has to be taken. Inertia is broken now. Come to Mobile Audit Club and read today's post and yesterday's. Today's post and yesterday's is below....

MUNI Social Strike: It's Coming!
An inevitable fare hike in the City’s public transportation system, San Francisco Municipal Railway (MUNI), is distressing the most vulnerable members of society: seniors, disabled, low-income residents and students. Bus fares will be going up from $1.25 to $1.50 this September. Along with higher fares, San Franciscans can expect service cuts to bus lines as well as a reduction in driver privileges and mass layoffs. The reason for these changes is to alleviate a $57 million deficit faced by M...

URBAN FARM REVIVAL: sowing the seeds of resistance in san francisco
What does food security mean to you? Does it mean always knowing the shelves at Safeway will contain your favorite cereal? Perhaps it is the limited security provided by a welfare check or food stamps. Or maybe you are one of millions of people whose food security relies directly on access to land.

SF Board of Supervisors Should Use Recess to Address Affordable Housing Crisis
San Franciscans disagree on many issues, but a near consensus exists that the city’s approach to affordable housing is broken and must be repaired. On one side are those unhappy with the lack of cost accountability for nonprofit housing, and on the other are those upset that current city affordable housing laws shortchange those most in need. As the Board begins a nearly three week recess, there is a perfect opportunity for Supervisors to create consensus legislation that could meet both of t...

Israeli forces remove Zionist settlers from Gaza
Despite the violence, the Israeli government and security forces have made every effort to placate the settlers, most of whom believe they have a biblical entitlement to Gaza, as part of a “Greater Israel”. The evacuation procedure has been codenamed “Brotherly Hand”, and everyone from Sharon to ground-level army commanders has repeatedly expressed their support and sympathy for the settlers. “We will show all the sensitivity that a family forced to leave its home deserves,” declared Colonel ...
