We have the Right to Vote against the SFRA in the Bayview Hunters Point
We have the right to vote against the corrupt SF Redevelopment Agency and other corrupt politicians in the Bayview Hunters Point. The few mostly Black sell outs in the BVHP can sell out again and again - but time is running out and some one has blood on their hands. We met on the steps of City Hall and sent the clarion call we are coming in numbers and watch out this November....

It's not just Imus
On April 11, NBC News announced that it was dropping MSNBC's simulcast of Imus in the Morning in the wake of the controversy that erupted over host Don Imus' reference to the Rutgers University women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos." The following day, CBS president and CEO Leslie Moonves announced that CBS -- which owns both the radio station that broadcast Imus' program and Westwood One, which syndicated the program -- has fired Imus and would cease broadcasting his radio show. But a...

Where Was the Anger When Imus Insulted Arabs, Muslims?
While the controversy surrounding racist radio and TV talk show host Don Imus continues to push the African-American community to review how similarly racist comments are used in black rap lyrics, that his career is coming to a screeching halt has Arabs and Muslims in America cheering....

German media, politicians launch chauvinist campaign over a “Muslim takeover” of Germany
Campaigns alleging that a nation is being “swamped” by foreigners have always been part of the repertoire of right-wing extremist politics. The influx of immigrants, their culture and language is regarded as a threat to one’s “own” people and—depending upon which version is being promulgated—Western or German culture. In recent times, the danger of being “swamped” has been replaced by that of a “Muslim-takeover,” with the difference, however, that such agitation is not limited to right-wing e...

PBS Criticized for Excluding Latino, Native Voices from Documentary on Second World War
A coalition of Latino organizations have been criticizing PBS over a forthcoming documentary by Ken Burns on World War II because it ignores the role played by Latino soldiers in the war. The 14-hour film, “The War,” includes no interviews with any Latino veterans even though over 500,000 Latinos served in the war. The documentary also includes no interviews with any Native American veterans. We speak with Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez, a University of Texas professor who has led the protests agains...

Singo furious over Broadcast Regulator’s ruling on Alan Jones
One could almost feel sorry for highflying, right wing, media types who derive a living from exploiting the lowest aspects of human nature. But there is ‘no love lost’ around here and I imagine anywhere else. Media moguls are getting a taste of life at the receiving end, perhaps they may think twice before making IRRESPONSIBLE racist, vilifying comments at the expense of those in the least position to defend themselves. The results of negative media hype and racist remarks include foul abuse ...

NBC and CBS have fired Imus; Will ABC continue to support local KSFO hatemongers?
Just a few months ago, ABC/Disney used its substantial resources to try to stiffle the voice of a critic of their hateful KSFO programming in the Bay Area. When this critic posted clips of the hateful talk on the internet to prove his point, ABC called in their army of lawyers and claimed copyright infringement in order to attempt to shut down the criticism. You can follow the ABC link below to read more on the recent history of ABC/Disney hate radio featuring Lee Rodgers, Melanie Morgan, Of...

Muwekma Ohlone excercised Right of First Refusal on Presidio of San Francisco
The Muwemka Ohlone exercised the Right of First Refusal on the Presidio of San Francisco in 1992. What this means is that the First People of San Francisco have the right of jurisdiction over the Presidio of San Francisco, besides the long standing Patrimonial Jurisdiction. It will not be long when the Muwekma Ohlone are restored and put on the Federal Register. Then the negotiations can begin - between a Sovereign Nation and a measly quasi-federal entity like the Presidio Trust backed by Nan...
