The US is planning to attack Iraq massively by September, in time for the November congressional elections. This is the latest escalation of an ongoing war the US has perpetrated against Iraq since 1991. Thousands of US military personnel are being moved to the Persian Gulf area, ready to attack Iraq, with a ground force of 200,000 troops against starving people. With massive cutbacks in social services, war is the means by which the Bush administration plans to stay in power....

In this article he mentions Orwell's 1984, a book which bears rereading.
In the book, one of the mechanisms used for the control of the population is
fear brought on by constant war. The entire book is amazingly prescient....

Julia Bishop, who changed her name and her son's from Bishara, has declined interviews since Saturday. She told Pinellas County officials she changed her name because Bishara is an Arabic name and the United States was at war with Iraq at the time.
Rumor has it she will be telling her story to People magazine first, no doubt because AOL-Time-Warner does such a good job of self-censorship with sensitive material....

As of today we seem to be finishing up the war in Afghanistan and there is all types of speculation that President bush is next planning on invading Iraq. I noticed recently that President Mubarak of Egypt is now supporting Iraq. If I am reading the scriptures correctly concerning this there will be some surprises shortly....
