The "Take It To The Bridge" protest was featured on the front page of the Sunday May 26th SF Chronicle. The article was quite sympathetic to the protest. It mentions that the police were the ones who stopped traffic and contains an interview with a jogger who felt like the police overreacted. It also mentions that a KTVU cameraman was knocked down by the police....

A protester was detained and questioned after trying to take a Palestinian flag onto the Golden Gate Bridge. American nationalists take flags onto the bridge walkway all the time. In this country you only seem to have Freedom of Speech if you believe what they tell you to believe....
