Noam Chomsky discusses Bush and Strategies to Control the 'Beast'
Imperial Presidency: Strategies to Control the Great Beast
By Noam Chomsky

US budget slashes social spending to pay for war and repression

Bush’s budget: government by fraud and lies
The most important feature of the new budget released by the Bush administration on Monday is that it is not, in any serious sense of the word, a budget at all. It is a monumental fraud, aimed at concealing fiscal reality and usurping decisions on spending that, under longstanding US constitutional procedures, are reserved to Congress rather than the executive branch....

A.N.S.W.E.R.'S RESPONSE TO BUSH'S STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS
Empire - the true aim of the U.S. government - is barely concealed

January 31, 2005
The following is a statement from Ward Churchill:
In the last few days there has been widespread and grossly inaccurate media coverage concerning my analysis of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, coverage that has resulted in defamation of my character and threats against my life.
