US diplomat killed in Iraq attack
A State Department security officer was killed Sunday when insurgents launched a mortar or rocket attack on a US base near Baghdad International Airport, The US embassy said.
Ed Seitz, an agent with the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, was killed about 5 a.m. (0200 GMT) at Camp Victory, embassy spokesman Bob Callahan said.
The victim was believed to be the first American diplomat killed in Iraq since last year's US-led invasion....

Bodies of 50 slain Iraqi troops found
The corpses of 50 soldiers of Iraq's new army have been discovered northeast of the capital Baghdad.

At least eight Iraqis killed in Fallujah clashes; Four dead in Blast
.S. Marines clashed with Iraqi fighters on the outskirts of Fallujah and launched additional airstrikes, the U.S. command said Friday.
