A Trinity of Evil: George Bush, Big Oil, 9-11
As more documents concerning 9-11 surfaces, it is becoming increasing clear the top officials in the Bush administration were at least complicit if not an active participants in the attacks. There is enough evidence now to bind George W. Bush, big oil companies and 9-11 into a trinity of evil. By allowing the 9-11 attacks to take place unhindered Bush and all of his top advisers are guilty of the mass murder of over 3000 innocent people....

Sharon threatens to kill Arafat
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon this week made a clear threat to assassinate Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in an interview to mark the Jewish New Year holiday.
Sharon reiterated an earlier threat to expel Arafat from the Palestinian territories at a “convenient” time. But he went on to stress that he saw no difference between Arafat and Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, who was assassinated by Israel in March, and Abdel-Aziz al-Rantissi, who was killed the following month....

Lebanese slam US double standards regarding Israel's occupations of Lebanon and Palestine
Obeid slammed the U.S. Congress' latest call on Syria to withdraw from Lebanon and U.S. criticism of Syria and Lebanon on human rights grounds. "The U.S. Congress would do better to focus on human rights violations in the West Bank and in Iraq."
He said Lebanon was being asked to deal with the issue of the national anti-Israeli resistance without bearing in mind that there is Lebanese land still under Israeli occupation....

In the eight days since their abduction, pleas for their release have crossed all geographical, religious and cultural lines. The Palestinian group Islamic Jihad, Hizbullah, the International Association of Islamic Scholars and several Iraqi resistance groups have all voiced outrage. A resistance group in Falluja said the kidnap suggests collaboration with foreign forces. Yet some voices are conspicuous by their absence: the White House and the office of Allawi.
