UK Ministry of Defense warns US on its planned use of toxic gases in Iraq
The Ministry of Defence has warned the US that it will not allow British troops to be involved in operations where riot control agents are used, or to transport them to the battlefield, but Britain is even more concerned about the calmatives. This is shown by documents obtained by the Texas-based Sunshine Project under the US Freedom of Information Act. These reveal that the US is developing calmatives – including sedatives such as the benzodiazapines, diazepam, dexmeditomide and new drugs th...

Do Palestinians Exist? Hollywood Denies the Existence of Palestine
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is “very concerned that the Academy may have discouraged the submission of ‘Divine Intervention’ for technical reasons in order to avoid having to make a decision whether or not to exclude the film because it was made by and about Palestinians. At the Cannes Festival and many other venues, ‘Divine Intervention’ has proven to be competitive at the highest level and deserves to be considered for an Oscar.” ADC urges you to ask the AMPAS, spe...

Censorship: The Bush Junta Raids The Library
Most Americans despise censorship. It is alien to our very nature and is an assault on our freedoms and liberty. Yet more and more Americans are now turning to
foreign news sites on the internet for the truth about today?s world events especially concerning war with Iraq. We no longer trust the current regime, network news
or major papers to deliver the truth. We know that the media is nothing more than the mouthpiece of the Bush regime...

John Trudell and an artist discuss the perpetual war mentality
Everybody is trying to find a way out from the mess they're in and they're using dark age intellectualizations and remaining confined in these concepts that have been imposed upon us from day one. Our spirits, the part of us that gifted us excellent medicine to deal with our lives here, has been systematically mined by a severely alienated perpetual war mentality. Join Trudell and i in a kind of conversation that you are invited to participate in....

Ari Gets Laughed Out of the White House Briefing Room
I heard this replayed on NPR. I remembered it slightly differently than this report. According to my recollection, he was responding to the implication that we're 'buying' the complicity of other nations, with something about the outrageousness of such a statement because 'look what you're saying about those nations,' that they are able to be bought,' and then everyone laughed. My impression was also that he might have been trying to make a joke. Who can tell with this Orwellian admin?? ...

Rioters Delay Trial, Clash With Police in Argentina
The two days of clashes amounted to the worst outbreak of violence since police fought pitched street battles with anti-government demonstrators last June, killing two people.
