US diplomat killed in Iraq attack
A State Department security officer was killed Sunday when insurgents launched a mortar or rocket attack on a US base near Baghdad International Airport, The US embassy said.
Ed Seitz, an agent with the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, was killed about 5 a.m. (0200 GMT) at Camp Victory, embassy spokesman Bob Callahan said.
The victim was believed to be the first American diplomat killed in Iraq since last year's US-led invasion....

Navy approves first ever Satanist
The British Armed Forces has officially recognised its first registered Satanist, according to a newspaper report.
Naval technician Chris Cranmer, 24, has been allowed to register by the captain of HMS Cumberland.
The move will mean that he will now be allowed to perform Satanic rituals on board the vessel....

At least eight Iraqis killed in Fallujah clashes; Four dead in Blast
.S. Marines clashed with Iraqi fighters on the outskirts of Fallujah and launched additional airstrikes, the U.S. command said Friday.
Around sundown Thursday, Iraqis fired small arms, rocket-propelled grenades and mortars at U.S. forces, who hit back with ground fire and airstrikes. According to The PAP, hospital officials in Fallujah reported that eight people were killed and two injured in the fighting....
