For Palestinians, Joy and Some Hints of Sympathy
Unlike the settlers, Palestinians fled or were forced from their homes by an enemy during war, and no one compensated them. There are more differences than parallels, despite a shared romance with the land and with their remembered notions of their present antagonists....

Settler Attacks Escalate
Settlements and settlers are illegal under international law. Fire unextinguished
One need merely walk around Nablus or any other Palestinian town or village to witness how people attempt to take back their lives, whether peacefully or violently, and struggle within a larger system of poverty, politics, and violence. Housing Justice Activists Blast Mayor's Affordable Housing Goals
A group of senior, youth, family and housing advocates demanded more funding for affordable homes in San Francisco yesterday. Vigil Photos - 24th & Mission in SF
All across the United States, communities came together to honor Cindy Sheehan and others who have lost loved ones in Iraq. These candle light vigils represented the re-awakening of the antiwar movement. Who knows where it will go, but for now, the night sky is alight with the flicker of hope yet again.
These photos are from a few minutes at one of the many vigils in the Bay Area - at the 24th & Mission BART station in the heart of San Francisco....

Terrorists Crushed Iranian Democracy: 52nd Anniversary of Terrror Against Mossadegh
In an age of War on Terror and the Staged Terror in London, Iranians and the world must remember and never forget the terror that was unleashed on Iran 52 years ago. Terrorists came from London and New York. They not only obliterated Democracy but put thousands of Iranian Patriots in front of firing squads in the blood bath that followed. The effect of this shameful terrorism has injured the Iranian psyche for generations to come. It was re-enforced by the CIA’s after-shock and Terror of 19...
