Mayor Gavin Newsom rejects plan to keep Golden Gate closed on Saturday
The Golden Gate Park is closed to vehicular traffic on Sundays but now some fanatics want to close the Golden Gate Park on Saturdays. This group of fanatics have had their way for a long, long time. However, many have had it with these fanatics that have no compassion for those that have physical challenges. Mayor Gavin Newsom rejected the ordinance to keep Golden Gate Park closed on Saturdays. Healthy Saturdays legislation passed the Board of Supervisors but the Mayor still holds the ultimate power, as he can either support or veto it in the next week.
