Action Alert: Stop Increased Pumping of Delta Water!
Here's an announcement about two "scoping" meetings on the "Intertie" Project, another wacky venture by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to export more Delta water at a time when the Delta food chain is collapsing. I urge everybody concerned about the future of the Delta and West Coast fisheries to attend one of these meetings. Executive Director of the Northcoast Enviro Center, died yesterday
Tim McKay, the Executive Director of the Northcoast Environmental Center, died yesterday. Tim was birding at Stone Lagoon with his partner Michelle when he was struck by what was apparently a massive heart attack. He was taken to Mad River Hospital, but they were unable to save him. Tim was 59 years old....
