Wednesday morning the words “f**k black people” were found chalked on sidewalk outside the Otter Express. This follows an incident the night before where an African American student was called the N-word by a student she did not know who later claimed to be “joking.” The hateful words of Wednesday morning underscore that racial insensitivity is never a joke. Racism must never be taken lightly. By Thursday night, members from all racial communities came together in solidarity with the African ...

Nothing seems to work in favor of LENNAR at Parcel A, at Hunters Point Shipyard. Lennar has failed to adhere to the time lines set in the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) linked to Parcel A. No one seems to care about this legal document. In recent weeks there has been Notices of Violation issued to Lennar to stop work. The Asbestos and Toxic Dust will be an issue that Lennar will have to deal with - for years and it will bring its ruin....

Those that participated in the putting together of the " Out Migration " report should be ashamed of themselves. For sure they did not read the "Unfinished Agenda". At Johannes Mehserle's second pre-trial hearing in Los Angeles, the LA Coalition for Justice for Oscar Grant again demonstrated against racist police violence in front of the Los Angeles Superior Courthouse. Inside the court room, both of Mehserle's defense motions -- to reduce bail and to remove the Alameda DA's office from the case -- were denied by Judge Perry. After the he...
