Moss Landing group reports large number of disoriented pelicans Wildlife rescuers report a mysterious illness has attacked pelicans along the California coast, producing a spike in reports of disoriented birds since Dec. 31.
"As a conservative number, we've seen over 60 live, sick pelicans in the last five days," said Rebecca Dmytryk, the spokesperson for WildRescue, a nonprofit wildlife rescue organization based in Moss Landing....

Lennar pushes its Urban Design Plan at the BVHP Land Use sub-committee in a casual manner. Lennar the Rogue Developer that looks you straight in the eye and lies - gave a drab presentation at the sub-committee Land Use - linked the Bayview Hunters Point - Project Area Committee - yesterday. Antioch police quick to taser SFPD officer ANTIOCH, CA (KGO) -- The city of Antioch and its police department have been slapped with a federal lawsuit by a San Francisco police detective who got Tasered in her home.
