Save SF Public Defender's Office; Call Bd of Supes Today The lawyers for the poor accused of crimes, usually of being homeless, namely the public defenders, are going to be eliminated from the city's budget if you do not get on the phone today and call all 11 supervisors to demand that they restore all funding to the Public Defender's Office, and never give more money to the anti-poor District Attorney's Office, as they did. Bastille Day, July 14 is the last chance to save the Public Defender's Office from serious budget cuts and privatization....

Lennar is NOT making any progress so it is trying to hoodwink the PUBLIC at large with California Senate Bill 792 that will fail. Basically, Lennar wants to buy the Candlestick Park area and thinks that the people will stand for this bloody act. At Hunters Point Naval Shipyard it has been exposed so widely that is wants to cut its losses and leave down.
