Black Box Voting - What's going on with California Secretary of State Bruce McPherson?
It looks like he wanted to make a media splash about testing voting machines to see if they could be hacked, then, as with all the wmd stories, let reality play out differently and the news stories correcting the situation will only come out later, buried and unseen by most. Remember, this is the guy who was INSTALLED after the witch hunt (headed up by the Chronicle) forced out Kevin Shelley, who tried to put in security measures against vote fraud....

Otters appear victors in Calif. water wars
Progress has been made recently in the effort to abandon FWS' idiotic relocation program of sea otters, in which those found south of Point Conception are relocated further north, most notably to San Nicholas Island, a habitat which is unsutable for the otters, causing them to swim away and in many cases die in the process.
