imageAlameda County Sheriff's Deputies Brutally Beat Man in San Francisco's Mission District
by FTP
The San Francisco Public Defender’s office this evening released video of two Alameda County Sheriff's Deputies beating a man who is curled up on the ground. The first pig tackles and punches the man and then both proceed to hit him with their batons for nearly a minute, repeatedly striking the man in the head and all over his body. They only stop beating him after other deputies and SFPD arrive on the scene, making sure to get in a few final whacks before they stop their assault. Instead ...

imageTrial Date Set for Alex Darocy for February 22
by Alex Darocy
Today Santa Cruz Judge Paul Burdick denied a motion filed by my attorney to dismiss the charges against me on first amendment grounds. A trial date has now been set in Santa Cruz Superior Court for February 22, with a trial readiness hearing scheduled for February 17. Burdick stated there would be another chance for the motion to be heard by the court before trial, but that he would not dismiss the charges. Earlier this year I was charged with two counts, 2800(a), failing or refusing to compl...
