Call for draft, more troops to Iraq would spread Iraq war to USA (audio/mpeg 3.9MB)
Rangel is calling for a return to the draft, while McCain is calling for sending MORE troops to Iraq in a futile attempt to defeat both the brutal civil war and the popular resistance to US occupation.
Counterinsurgency experts estimate ONE MILLION TROOPS would be "needed" in Iraq. That return to the draft that Rangel wants would be the only way to get them....
