Thousands march for immigrant rights in SF on May Day 
SAN FRANCISCO (May 1, 2007) - Thousands of immigrants and supporters marched for "Amnesty Now" today as part of a national day of action. Courage to Resist was out telling folks about an upcoming tour of Latino Iraq veterans turned resisters. The Northern California tour includes a San Francisco event Sunday, May 13 at the Veterans War Memorial Building (401 Van Ness Ave.) at 7pm. See below for more info....

OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA (May 1, 2007) – Tens of thousands marched for immigrant rights today. Immigrants in the Central Valley took to the streets by the tens of thousands to protest both measures, which are called comprehensive immigration reform.
