7/9 Successful SF Libya peace & prisoner support demonstrations Some 50 (my estimate) to 200 (KPFA's estimate on 7/9 6 p.m. news) people turned out for a 12 noon Saturday July 9 rally at Powell and Market, San Francisco, to end the US nuclear war against Libya, where our tax dollars are paying for "depleted" uranium bombing of Libya for their oil and water. Around 12:30 p.m., we marched to the Civic Center to join the support rally for the hunger striking prisoners at Pelican Bay Concentration Camp....
