On March 31, 61-year-old Wanda Cleveland was deliberately struck by a police vehicle during a candlelight vigil in South Sacramento for Stephon Clark, also known as "Zoe." Clark, a 22-year-old Black man, was murdered by Sacramento cops on March 18 in his grandmother’s backyard.

Stevante Clark, the brother of Stephon Clark, the unarmed black man shot and killed by Sacramento police on March 18, is circulating a fundraising webpage to help support the Clark family. Sacramento police shot Stephon Clark seven times from behind, according to an independent autopsy conducted by pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu, who was hired by Clark’s family. The autopsy contradicts the Sacramento police department’s claim that Clark was advancing towards officers Terrence Mercadal and Jared Robinet when they killed him. Dr. Omalu found that Clark took three to 10 minutes to die. Police waited at least five minutes before applying medical aid....
