The first attempt to deliver aid to the Iraqi people was, in all respects, a practical and logistical disaster. A convoy of vehicles, including two water tankers and as many Warrior armoured vehicles, had set off from the abandoned Shaiba airfield earlier. SF 3/26: Antiwar and media activists held a demonstration outside CNN's SF Bureau at noon today to protest corporate media's whitewash of US bombing and civilian casualties in Iraq. American networks have for the most part left Iraq, aside from perhaps a few "embedded journalists," and domestic news coverage of the attack is being filtered thru US Military officers....
