The People's Budget Collaborative is currently under attack by those Democrats who think protesting the actions of the current San Francisco Board of Supervisors is out of order. New SF Tenant Issues
There are two more urgent issues concerning tenants pending in San Francisco. One is the reversal and remand for trial by the Court of Appeal of a lower court's ruling in favor of Proposition G of November 1998 on the San Francisco ballot limiting owner move-in evictions to stop the epidemic of phony owner move-in. The other is Rent Control Repeal on the Spring 2002 ballot....

7/9&7/18 SF Tenant Hearings
On July 9, 2001 at 2 p.m. at San Francisco City Hall, the Board of Supervisors will be voting to override Willie Brown's veto of McGoldrick's Tenants in Common legislation, which they have supported twice with 8 votes out of 11. On July 18, 2001 at 9:30 a.m., the San Francisco Superior Court will make a decision on Proposition H passed by the voters in November 2000 to limit capital passthroughs to tenants....
