Several housing activists occupied a building this morning near Market and Van Ness in San Francisco over the city's housing policies and the US's spending priorities. Hundreds rallied outside in support. After several hours, the police moved in and took control of the building removing the banners. The squatters were neither arrested nor cited, but several protesters who sat down in the street were arrested....

For the past eights years the low-income communities of color in the Southeast Section of San Francisco, the ex Mayor Willie Brown corner the Federal money, Community Development Block Grants (CDBG). From there the money was stolen, sent to another community, of given to his appointed Community Based Organizations. (CBO)
Since 1998, every election there has been voter fraud in distrist 10 by ex Mayor Willie Brown people. Just look at the Dec 2003 election....

To hear Larry Reid tell it, his Nuisance Eviction Ordinance sounds like a great way to get rid of the bad guys. And without a doubt, given a perfect police department, perfect city officials, etc., it would work just perfect. Unfortunately, Councilmember Reid overlooks the fact that we live in a less than perfect world where officials routinely abuse their power....

The Redevelopment Agency is setting up for another Fillmore in the low income and communities of color in several districts especially Bayview Hunters Point. make copies cirulate the petition and get signatures and send to the San Francisco Bayview Newspaper. Remember the Fillmore stop Redevelopment, make them accountable to the Board of Supervisors....

On February 25th, San Francisco street drains backed-up, overflowed and sent three foot high rapids of flooding water, rushing into the Family School, sinking the non-profit agency deeper in despair, immediately shutting the facility down causing 25 families and 32 children to be without available daycare....
