Officer Andrew Cohen wrote to me on Monday, Jan. 2, to promote his brand new film, “Inside SFPD: The Bayview,” his attempt at “rebuilding trust in the Bayview community.” After reading my response to his email, he immediately called to discuss how he felt he had been vilified in the media and how his new film would help to build trust between the police and Bayview residents. Apparently, he could find no appropriate venue in Bayview Hunters Point....
