The flyer text here is meant to do two things: inspire you, and many others, to become more proactive--in a basic resistance of consciousness! Here is a giant pile of deep info that should inspire!...

The Draft Peter Camejo for President Campaign
Peter Camejo contends that a vote for a Democrat -- even a progressive -- is a vote for a system that has failed Americans and American ideals. He also argues that a Green candidacy moves the debate to the left, which he says increases a Democrat's chance of defeating Bush....

Kucinich Not As Perfect/Liberal As You Might Think...
Kucinich Might not be as Liberal or Perfect as You Think... I even found some of his voting record pretty surprising... Voting with people like Joe Scarborough, Tom Delay, & Charles Pickering... I was surprised to see his harsh vote on wanting to jail/try 12ish year olds as Adults... Also some of his restrictions on Abortions... Also other Freedom restrictions on younger people... His vote against burning/desecrating Flag also bothered me... I don't like giving Feds more power, esp over ...

Responding to the January 15 publication of a Reporters sans frontières (RSF) “report” exonerating the soldiers who confessed to the murder in Iraq of Spanish cameraman José Couso, his family issued a press release on January 16 in Madrid, rejecting the supposed “investigation” and asking RSF to immediately withdraw from the dispute....

Portlanders support California supermarket workers
Yesterday, a crowd of about 50 rallied at the Safeway at 1100 NE Broadway in Portland to support the 70,000 workers who have been locked out of Southern California supermarkets for insisting on keeping hard-fought health benefits in the face of austerity plans being imposed by the big supermarket chains. Get Off Your Ass and Do Something!
A thick gloom has set in. As if beaten into submission by the corporatist media the dissidents among us have become increasingly silent. Bush's psychological war on Americans appears to have succeeded. We have become withdrawn, quiet and beneath the surface we smolder. Nary an anti-Bush bumper sticker can be seen, despite the fact that thousands are available online. Nary an anti-Bush button can be seen, though a Google search will reveal their availability. Unless you walk through the ...

More harrassment of Tacoma Peltier March
Last year, there was interference and harrassment of an annual peaceful march for Leonard Peltier in Tacoma, which violated the first amendment. Folks thought things were settled after the lawsuit with the city, but now Tacoma is placing more highly unreasonable requirements on the march which effectively violated their constitutional right to assembly and speech. In addition to this, an organization of FBI agents, the No Parole Peltier Association, has been phoning the organizers and telling...

From the war/occupation fronts
Clearly all hell is breaking loose in Iraq. The “coalition” can’t get the oil out reliably. Look at the price of regular unleaded. The Iraqi people’s hatred grows each day. U.S. soldiers have lost the faith and are dying in numbers (513 admitted thus far) that either are, or will soon be, unacceptable to the U.S. public....
