SF Supervisors, will you nail the Black community to Redevelopment’s cross again?
They said it couldn’t be done, but in less than three weeks, more than 7,000 San Franciscans have signed the petition to stop the Redevelopment Agency from grabbing and “repeopling” Bayview Hunters Point. At that rate, we’ll have the needed 30,000 signatures (21,000 plus a cushion) well before the Aug. 21 deadline....

Larry Badner SF Planning Administrator demands huge pay raise
Dean Macris was brought in to replace Green who had dubious dealings as Director of SF Planning according to Gavin Newsom the lying Mayor of San Francisco. Now Dean Macris has fallen on his face and is planning to give Larry Badner the SF Planning Administrator who talks the talk but cannot walk the walk a huge raise - just in time and a few years before he retires. The minimum wage implementation and enforcement ordinance on Tuesday’s agenda at the Board of Supervisor’s meeting was pushed back a week. The legislation seeks to enforce the minimum wage law that was passed in San Francisco in 2003. The ordinance would amend current law to require employers to pay an annual fee that would help fund the city in its effort to implement the new minimum wage standard. Ethnic cleansing is a less genteel word for gentrification. Prior mayors of San Francisco have successfully racially cleansed the Fillmore, renamed the Western Addition. They drove out Black people or coopted the opposition by signing treaties, much as did the white man and the American Indian. These mayors passed out script and money. Those that they could not hire, they gave script. This script was as worthless as confederate money....

Consumers and doctors aren't getting the full story about the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical products. Please support this drug safety bill which would require that all health study data, for drugs sold in CA, be made available to the public. Right now we are NOT getting all of the information!
