textVote Count "Glitches" Haunt Bush's Supposed Mandate by WD
While Democratic leaders have gone missing since the November 2nd election, activists on the web and radio have overcome their post election depression and are beginning to investigate the vote count irregularities across the nation. Due to a discovery by members of DemocraticUnderground.com, the City of Gahanna in Ohio discovered a discrepancy that gave 4,000 votes to George Bush. After media scrutiny, city officials have admitted to an electronic "glitch" that caused the proble...

textThe E-Vote Factor: Kerry Conceded But Did He Really Lose? by Democracy Now
Serious questions are being raised about the use of electronic voting machines in the 2004 presidential election. In an Ohio county, Bush mistakenly received some 3,900 extra votes. We speak Johns Hopkins University professor Aviel Rubin and investigative reporter Bev Harris....

textNot Another Post Election Analysis! by Charlotte Laws, Ph.D.
Some pundits wave election, exit poll results and argue that America is a "red" country immersed in conservative "red values." But there are several factors they seem to overlook: 1) Nader voters statistically trumped Bush voters on the "moral values" question, 2) "personal financial situation" seemed to be a decisive factor in the presidential election, and 3) exit polls are notoriously flawed....

text Man commits suicide at ground zero, reportedly distraught over Bush's re-election by reposts
NEW YORK (AP) - A 25-year-old from Georgia who was apparently distraught over President George W. Bush's re-election shot and killed himself at ground zero. Andrew Veal's body was found Saturday morning inside the off-limits site, said Steve Coleman, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. A shotgun was found nearby, but no suicide note was found, Coleman said....

imageGrowing Collection of Vote Fraud links

by Richard Lofgren
The list of evidence is growing that the US election was anything but a fair vote. Who could possibly think that all of these voting problems are just a minor aberation? The long lines are always in Democratic counties, that the computer ’glitches’ always favor Bush, and the new e-machines were made by a Bush ’Pioneer’ (top donor) that pledged to deliver for Bush. Funny how Diebold makes bank machines which print paper receipts millions of times daily, but they couldn’t get the printer to wor...

textEvidence Mounts That The Vote Was Hacked by Thom Hartmann
When I spoke with Jeff Fisher this morning (Saturday, November 06, 2004), the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida's 16th District said he was waiting for the FBI to show up. Fisher has evidence, he says, not only that the Florida election was hacked, but of who hacked it and how...

textStorm Troopers & Patriots by gdy
By 8:00 PM on Election Day, I was convinced that I was watching the slickest damn con job ever put over on the American people. The TV coverage was pitiful. By now its becoming increasingly clear that Bush stole another election. Once the results in western states could be predicted the vote tally in Florida could be juggled in favor of Bush. Once the outcome in the west was known the vote tally in Ohio could be juggled similarly....

textKerry conceded early: why? by indy Re-Post
I wondered why Kerry conceded so early, even countering his running mate. All the votes are not counted. There are many questions about voting machine fraud. Bev Harris has filed 3,000 FOI requests to obtain audit logs from county election officials. In other words, the truth is still out there, at least officially. It is quite clear that this election was stolen. What isn't immediately clear is Kerry's part in it. This is one good analysis....

textPutting Things in Perspective: 1968 and Now by Jonah Birch (repost)
I think that an a useful comparison for leftists today to use when talking to people about Bush is the election of Richard Nixon in 1968. The election that year took place in a context of growing social polarization and anger around the Vietnam War. In the spring of 1968, the Tet Offensive in Vietnam had demonstrated the incredible unpopularity and weakness of the U.S. occupation in that country....
