Oakland and Berkeley City Councils Urge Alameda County To Allow Same-Sex Marriages
Oakland may follow San Francisco's lead in allowing the marriages of same-sex couples.
The Oakland City Council is considering a resolution that urges the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to allow gay and lesbian couples to be married by the county clerk's office.
The council is expected to approve the measure on March 16....

(San Francisco, California) Rosie O'Donnell says President George W. Bush convinced her to marry longtime partner Kelli Carpenter O'Donnell.
